What actually changes when your account status changes
Three scenarios that end WhatsApp's own access to your history — and don't touch Stora's.
Your number gets banned
WhatsApp itself is gone for that number — no in-app history, no in-app export. Whatever Stora had already captured before the ban stays exactly where it was.
Your phone is lost or replaced
Local chat history tied to that device is gone unless you had a first-party backup enabled on the same account. Your Stora archive was never on the phone to begin with — it lives on our servers, reachable from any browser.
You uninstall the app
Whatever WhatsApp had cached locally goes with the app. Your Stora archive doesn't live in the app, so removing it doesn't remove anything from your archive.
Archive access
A ban doesn't cut off access to what you already captured.
Your archive stays readable, searchable and exportable for as long as your plan's retention window lasts. A ban, a suspension or a lost number does not shorten that window or revoke access to what Stora already captured on its own — if syncing stops we tell you, and you decide whether to turn off auto-renew.
